Superintendent's Message 6-26-2022

Good afternoon Worcester Families,

This morning the Class of 2022 graduated in the 133rd commencement ceremony from Worcester Central School. Despite the many challenges they faced during their high school years, our graduates are departing the Worcester Central School District with messages of hope, learning, love and encouragement. We again, congratulate the young men and women of the Class of 2022 and their parents and guardians, as they prepare for post-secondary education, military, or the workforce.

As we have reached the end of the school year, the Worcester Central School Board of Education, the WCS faculty, staff and I, would like to express our most sincere thanks to the WCS Community for your unyielding support, partnership, patience and flexibility that led to such a very successful 2021-22 school year. This year, like those of the recent past, required all of us to practice those four qualities often to navigate the school year and it is very much appreciated.

I also want to take an opportunity to thank our faculty and staff for the incredible impact you have had on our WCS students. All of us play a critical and important role in creating tremendous learning experiences for our students to be successful. We could not do what we do at WCS, without each of you in your roles.

As students and families enjoy their summer vacations, I will be sending more periodic updates throughout the summer as we prepare for the 2022-23 school year. I am already looking forward to a new year of getting things back to “normal” and seeing our fantastic students back at school.

I wish you all a very safe, restful, and wonderful summer break!

Respectfully,

Tim Gonzales
Superintendent
