Snow/Emergency Day Give Back
As we head into spring and hoping to avoid any more winter weather, WCS has two unused snow/emergency days. Traditionally, WCS has allowed for the unused days to extend a recess period or a weekend when fewer than the allotted days have been used.
As a result, WCS will allocate two unused snow/emergency days for the 2022-2023 school year and the District will be closed on the following days:
- Friday, May 26, 2023
- Tuesday, May 30, 2023
It is important to note that if we must close for a snow or other emergency situation, we will remove the additional day(s) from the list above beginning with May 30th and then May 26th as needed. We will be sure to communicate any changes should that become necessary.
