Worcester Central School Open House 2021-Update
Due to the recent increases of COVID-19 positives in the county, we are modifying our plan for this year’s Open House. We value the community’s desire to be in person and to maintain some sense of normalcy. As a result, we are implementing the following structure for our Open House on Tuesday, September 28th.
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS Pre-K to 6th
Students with last names beginning with the letters A-L: Arrive @ 6:30-7:00
Students with last names beginning with the letters M-Z: Arrive @ 7:00-7:30
Pre-K to 6th Grade
All Pre-K to 6th grade families should arrive at Open House during the ½ hour time frame that corresponds to the last name of their child. If you have children with different last names that fall into both time frames, you should wait until the second ½ hour to visit your child’s teacher.
Please spend no more than 15 minutes in your child’s classroom or special area classrooms.
While visiting your child’s classroom, sign up for a parent-teacher conference, either virtually or in person. Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 20th from 12:45 -7:00 p.m.
SECONDARY STUDENTS 7th to 12th
Families may visit teachers from: 6:30-7:30
Please maintain social distancing and limit time in each
class to less than 15 minutes.
7 to 12th Grade
7th to 12th grade families should maintain social distancing and limit time in each class to less than 15 minutes.
When visiting classes, if you notice a room is full please go to another class and return later.
Reminder: Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times while inside the building.
