Dear Worcester Families,
I wanted to take an opportunity to share some important updates. First, let me thank you for your continued support of the Worcester Central School District’s academic and extracurricular programs! This evening our budget passed (126-54), as well as the bus proposition (123-55). Congratulations to Mr. William Fisher II who was re-elected to the Board of Education. WCS thanks you for your continued service.
I also wanted to clarify the recent update on New York State mask guidelines. Yesterday Governor Cuomo announced that masks were not required to be worn by vaccinated individuals. However, he also announced that masks are still required in schools. We were informed today by the NYS Department of Health we are to continue to follow our mask guidelines until further notice.
