The Schenevus and Worcester central school districts have jointly launched a Merger Committee website, which can be found here: http://www.mscsw.org
The purpose of the Merger Syudy Committee Site is to keep both communities up-to-date with information related to the merger study that was recently approved by both district’s boards of education. Both districts, and the Merger Study Committee, will use the site to share documents, news and other information throughout the study process to keep the entire Schenevus-Worcester community informed.
The website was created and hosted by Worcester Central School District at no cost to taxpayers to serve as a central location for merger information. In addition, the two districts have released a joint newsletter, mailed to all residents of both districts, with more information about the merger study. If you do not receive a copy, please know that all information in the newsletter can also be found on the merger website.
The districts had planned to host a forum in late March, but in light of the current school closures, the forum has been postponed indefinitely. In the meantime, community members can submit questions about the merger study via an online form.
