Dear WCS Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year at WCS! It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us for an in-person open house Tuesday, September 28th. To have this, and future in-person events, I want to share this important reminder. All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face mask, covering their nose and mouth at all times while in the building. The format for this year is as follows:
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Grades PreK-12:
- PreK-6:
- This will be a time for parents to visit their child’s classrooms, meet their child’s teacher and learn more about what happens on a daily basis.
- Grades 7-12:
- Parents can visit their child’s 7-12 classroom, meet the teacher, learn of course expectations and school/parent collaboration for student success.
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Special Area Teachers:
- Feel free to stop by the PE, Music, Art, Band, Spanish, Business, STEM, Special Education, and/or RTI classrooms! Those teachers will be available to chat with you or answer any questions that you may have.
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - PreK-12 Title I/RTI Presentation:
- Brief, ongoing presentations will occur outside the cafenasium to discuss the requirements and use of Title I funding for the 2021-2022 school year.
