Building Maintenance Mechanic
Full-Time, 12-Month Position
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, Days
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two year college with an Associate Degree with a major concentration in one of the following areas: electrical technology, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, or building construction and two years of satisfactory experience in the maintenance or construction of large scale buildings;
Graduation from high school or an equivalency diploma with four years of experience in the maintenance or construction of large scale buildings;
Eight years of experience in the maintenance or construction of large scale buildings;
Any combination of the above, which is sufficient to indicate the ability to do the work.
Strong, positive interpersonal skills required and proficiency in reading blue prints and construction documents preferred.
